partnership split and in 1883 Wm Miburn Co was established in
London.
It announced the establishment of a direct London to Australian ports
service and
registered a subsidiary Anglo-Australasian S.N. Co. which was to
start of a twice
monthly service to Australian ports from the beginning of 1884.
In 1914, Wm
Milburn was to merge with G.D. Tyser, T.B.Royden (Indra Line)
and James P.
Corry (Star Line) which emerged after World War I became the Port
Line.
